Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin 
Lives in Los Angeles

Jim Isermann’s artwork explores the relationship between abstraction and design.  Using ordinary household materials like plywood, fabric, nylon, paint, cotton, glass, he hand crafts furniture, rugs, weavings, quilts and, stained glass incorporating vibrant patterns and tactile materials.
