Masterpieces from the National Museum of Korea
LACMA presents artistic masterpieces of the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1897) on loan from the National Museum of Korea. The exhibition includes two extraordinary landscape paintings, and a unique blue–and–white porcelain jar, also decorated with landscapes.
A generous grant from the National Museum of Korea to support the renovation of the Korean art galleries at LACMA makes possible the exhibition of these rare treasures. These loans add significantly to the museum’s ability to present the finest works of art from Korea’s rich cultural heritage.
