Please join us for another exciting year at photoLA. The opening night preview for this annual photography fair will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009, from 6–9 pm at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The preview night serves as a benefit for the photography department at LACMA, with the fair running through the weekend and closing Sunday, January 11.

Benefit tickets are $65 and include cocktails and light refreshments, as well as a fabulous night of photography on view by over 50 national and international galleries (get more fair info).

Additionally, the photography department has curated an event at photoLA for Saturday, January 10. Starting at 12 pm, this day-long event will highlight the extraordinary range of contemporary photography publishing and include one-to-one conversations between Charlotte Cotton, curator and head of the Wallis Annenberg Photography Department, and distinguished photographers. Each conversation will be followed by a book signings of the photographer's latest book project.
