Film is perhaps the most dominant art form of the last one hundred years. LACMA’s Art+Film initiative presents the moving image in the context of an art museum through exhibitions, film programs, and educational outreach initiatives.
LACMA is placing film in dialogue with the art of all times and cultures, and also brings contemporary filmmakers and film techniques to the museum and its community.
