Can parents come?
No. This is a teen-only event. Parents can drop you off or make reservations to have dinner at LACMA's newest restaurant, Ray's.
Who can come?
Teens in middle school or high school. Bring your valid school ID. Sorry, no college teens.
What if I don't have a middle or high school ID?
Bring some kind of photo ID that has your birthdate such as a California ID or passport or a note from a teacher, parent, or guardian.
Is the event supervised?
Yes! Museum and security staff will chaperone the evening.
Can we leave and come back?
No. There are no in-and-out privileges.
Where can we get dropped off and picked up?
On Wilshire Blvd. in front of Chris Burden's Urban Light (the group of lamp posts). Do not get dropped off unless you purchase your tickets in advance in case the event sells out.
How much is parking?
$10; free if you park after 7 pm.
What time is the event?
After Dark is from 7–10 pm. Entry to the exhibition is from 8–10 pm.
What if I'm not a NexGen member?
You can enroll on-the-spot at the event.
