Andell Family Sundays—Draw It!

October 5, 12, 19, 26 | 12:30 pm

Drawing is one of the most basic methods of making art. Check out traditional and nontraditional drawings, such as Edward Moses's Rose Screen, for inspiration. Experiment with different drawing materials and techniques in artist-led workshops.

Special on October 12: Join Hervé Tullet, New York Times bestselling picture book author, as he reads from his new book, Mix It Up! and paints with families to create a giant collaborative floor mural.

While you're here, visit the Broad Contemporary Art Museum to see more than a thousand miniature cars zooming through Chris Burden's kinetic sculpture, Metropolis II, in action every Sunday at the following times: 10:30–11:30 am; 12:30–1:30 pm; 2:30–3:30 pm; 4:30–5:30 pm.
