Off-site

The exhibition A Universal History of Infamy: Those of This America presents work by contemporary Latino artists, writers, and activists exploring loss, resilience, and the political potential of poetic expression alongside works from LACMA’s collection.

Join artists Isabel Avila and Linda Vallejo for a conversation about their work, representation, and the power of art in reflecting and resisting the socio, cultural, and political contexts in which it is created. Both Avila and Vallejo live and work in Southern California.
