Basic Studio Art—Studio Session

Five Saturdays, February 23, March 2, 9, 23, April 6, 2013 | 10 am–1 pm
This class is a comprehensive introduction to drawing and painting. In this entry-level course, students learn to create and to express themselves through a variety of media and learn basic art elements such as line, shape, color, and composition. Students will look at paintings in LACMA's collection to see how artists use these elements in their art. Classes also include lively discussions.  With artist Kyungsoo Lee.
