The Legacy of the California Design Exhibitions: Creating a Forum for Craft and Design

This all-day program in conjunction with California Design, 1930–1965: “Living in a Modern Way, explores the rich heritage of the California Design exhibitions held at the Pasadena Art Museum between 1954 and 1976 and includes panel discussions with curators and artists involved in the exhibitions, as well as screenings of period and recent documentaries. A related exhibition The Golden State of Craft: California 1960-1985 is on view across the street at the Craft and Folk Art Museum.
