Exhibition Lecture: Caravaggio and Optics

Sunday, January 6, 2013 | 1 pm

Roberta Lapucci, renowned Italian scholar and conservation expert, offers another perspective on the work and techniques of Caravaggio. How did he paint? What do scholars look for when examining his paintings? Lapucci has written extensively on such topics as the science of light and Caravaggio's working methods, particularly during the latter years of the painter's career.
