Talk: Chagall—Fantasies for the Stage: Stephanie Barron in Conversation with Meret Meyer and Bella Meyer

7 pm | Tue, July 25, 2017
Bing Theater

Stephanie Barron, senior curator of Modern Art and curator of Chagall: Fantasies for the Stage, appears in conversation with Meret Meyer and Bella Meyer, the artist's granddaughters and principals of Comité Marc Chagall, who have been instrumental in the conception and execution of the exhibition. Their thoughtful and engaged stewardship of their grandfather's legacy has been particularly important with regard to the artist's embrace of music, theater, and painting, thus preserving Chagall's place at the forefront of 20th century art.
