Dance Performance: Shatrang va Takhta-i Nard

This narrative dance performance, presented by award-winning choreographer Jamal, will explore the origins of chess and backgammon as told in the Iranian national epic the Shahnama and featured in the exhibition, Gifts of the Sultan: The Arts of Giving at the Islamic Courts.
