David Hockney is one of the world's best-known artists. His exhibitions attract huge crowds and his colorful, inventive imagery, unique in today's art world, is instantly recognizable. In conjunction with the exhibition David Hockney: 82 Portraits and 1 Still-life, this talk will introduce you to the artist and discuss what he has been up to lately. British-born but a longtime resident of Los Angeles, the artist's work has been a favorite of LACMA visitors for decades. Director of adult programs Mary Lenihan presents this talk; after the lecture, visit David Hockney: 82 Portraits and 1 Still-life.

Invitations delivered via e-mail. Please contact with any questions.
