The Director's Series: Michael Govan and Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy Presented by the Costume Council
Join LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director Michael Govan as he talks with fashion-world superstars Kate and Laura Mulleavy. Hear how art history and literature have influenced their work since founding Rodarte in Los Angeles in 2005, and in particular a collection of extraordinary gowns inspired by the work of Renaissance artist Fra Angelico. These sculptural creations are on display in LACMA's Italian Renaissance gallery through February 5, 2012.
STANDBY ONLY: A stand-by line will form at 6:30 pm at the Hammer Building Ticket Office. Please note that we cannot guarantee any standby access; guests in the standby line will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
