Scr/dir: Barry Avrich

Documentary filmmaker Barry Avrich has taken on the currents of power in the movies with his previous films on Dominick Dunne and Lew Wasserman, but those films had more of a historical aspect. With his most recent film, Avrich turns his focus on a force still actively shaping cinema: Harvey Weinstein, co-founder of the Weinstein Company and Miramax. Avrich sifted through the wreckage of legends and put together a list of interview subjects that includes Martin Scorsese, James Ivory, and John Irving, among others.
