L.A. Times Central Court

Make friends, participate, and connect with LACMA Locala new kind of membership that gives you access to fun, art-inspired events on the first and third Saturday of every month. Join Local for an invitation to this event and many more.

Get inspired by mid-century design in Mexico and California! In this workshop, led by teaching artist Valentina M. Quezada, Locals will experiment with a variety of printing techniques, including stamp making and stenciling, and will print unique designs on provided fabric. If you'd like, bring a personal item such as a tote bag, apron, or tea towel to print on instead. The three-hour workshop includes a guided look at the special PST: LA/LA exhibition Found in Translation: Design in California and Mexico, 1915–1985.

This event has limited capacity and is for LACMA Local members only.

Invitations delivered via e-mail. Please contact with any questions.
