Pianist Maria Demina performs Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, op. 7.

Pianist Marina Demina has been a professional pianist for over 20 years. She has performed throughout Europe, Japan, and the United States, combining technical mastery with her signature flair for the dramatic. She has won prizes in both national and international competitions including the top prize in the Russian National Piano Competition. In addition to playing live, Demina has recorded on public radio in the UK, California, and Russia, and appeared on French national television. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she has called Los Angeles home since 1992. Demina teaches piano and has guided her students to success in competition and to studies at colleges including Harvard, Stanford, and Juilliard.
