Explore contemporary Chinese artist Zheng Chongbin’s creative process as he leads you and your family to experiment with the interactions between sumi ink, acrylic paint, water, and paper. Work together to deconstruct and reconstruct the accumulated paintings into one collaborative artwork and installation that will be presented in the Boone Children’s Gallery.

This workshop will also be offered on August 19 and August 20

Reservations for this event are no longer available in advance. A standby line will form at 4 pm outside of the Hammer Building on the day of this event. Guests in the standby line will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, though unfortunately there is no guarantee of space being made available to guests in this line. For ticketing support, contact educate@lacma.org.
