Member Preview Day: Visions of the South
Members see it first. Members see it free.
On Member Preview Days, LACMA members can enjoy exhibitions before they open to the general public. Member Preview Days are only for current LACMA members and take place during regular museum hours. Regular ticketing policies apply.
Please note: Member Preview Days are during regular museum hours, which begin at 10 am on Saturday, March 1.
Throughout most of European history, notions of the "south"—that is, lands that touch the seas in both Europe or beyond—have served as an area of interest for artists, suggesting both a geographical reality and fantasies of the exotic. The exhibition Visions of the South explores artistic visions of the southern regions and the evolution of their conceptions over the centuries. Admission to this exhibition is included in general admission and is always free for LACMA members.
