The Golden Stag invites you to celebrate New Year’s Eve in roaring-‘20s style.

For one night only in L.A.’s legendary Park Plaza Hotel, return to the glamour, big bands, cocktails, dance, and utter charm of a bygone era.

Let club owner Stag Jones and his bevy of broads lead you through a whirlwind evening from a gilded patio featuring live performances, cocktails, cigars, and treats to the gorgeous Grand Ballroom, where an eighteen-piece orchestra just won’t quit. Downstairs, VIP Big Daddies and Leading Ladies nestle into the hotel’s speakeasy for burlesque, hosted cocktails, and untold sultry surprises. When the clock strikes midnight, we’ll throw open the windows for a champagne toast and a fireworks display—and that’s when the evening really gets going.

Featuring Sypher Art Studios, Brent Canter, Elliot Deutsch Big Band, Astra Dance Company, Sylphirance Royal, Alice Underground, The Josephina, and more.

Tickets to this one-night-only club are extremely limited. We ask that our guests dress to impress.

Park Plaza | Fellas and Flappers: $50 (includes champagne toast); Big Daddies and Leading Ladies: $150 (includes reserved table service with hosted bar) | Tickets 323 857-6010 or purchase online | No tickets available at the door | Must be 21+ to attend.

Park Plaza
Built in 1925 by renowned architect Claud Beelman, the Park Plaza Hotel in its Neo-Gothic style is an enduring symbol of the old "jazz age" grandeur. Originally used as Elks Lodge No. 99, the ornately decorated rooms now host Hollywood's elite. The hallowed halls, sprawling staircases, and manificent architecture inspire awe in all who walk through its doors.
Sypher Art Studios
Sypher Art Studios bring artists and dreamers together to create events and lavish experiences with breathtaking costumes, intricate sets, and stunning entertainment, including the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball, recognized as one of the most elaborate costume events in North America.
Brent Canter
Posi-Tone Records recording artist and 2011 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award winner Brent Canter has quickly become a buzz-worthy guitarist in today’s jazz scene. Drawing on an eclectic mix of influences including modern indie rock, jazz, and pop, Brent Canter creates music that is accessible yet always pushing the boundaries.
Elliot Deutsch Big Band
The Elliot Deutsch Big Band is the youngest, boldest, and hardest-swinging big band in Los Angeles. Seventeen musicians strong, the group plays with a slick and contemporary style built on a solid foundation of hard swing. With tunes written to be both accessible and complex, the music impresses casual listeners and jazz experts alike.
Astra Dance Company
The Astra Dance Company is a Los Angeles–based dance troupe that works in narrative theatrical dance of many styles including ballroom, ballet, historic, folkloric, and imaginative. Astra's stories are woven through words, music, images, choreography, and theater.
Alice Underground
The musical talents of Alice and a half-dozen guest performers transform The Golden Stag speakeasy into a shadowy world of sensational voices and cool cats. This hip band of musicians features two electrifying chanteuses as part of its Prohibition Era Revue.
Sylphirance Royal Presents
Ziegfeld Follies Tribute: The Golden Stag acquired this troupe after its headlining performances at the Coconut Grove. Sylphirance brings a decadent edge and lavish style to its glamoros displays throughout the Park Plaza Hotel with eye-popping ensembles.

The Josephina: Our jazz-era princess brings exotic and fiery performances inspired by the celebrated French Folies Bergères and the legendary Josephine Baker. Experience the height of the "danse sauvage" as our Josephina takes to the stage with a ferocious number to capture the imagination, including the famous banana dance.

Sylphirance: This sultry troupe of exquisite dancers and performers, led by the renowned Cynthia Marie, bring their most elaborate jazz-era costumes into The Golden Stag to contribute to the night of wonder.

The Hollywood Hotshots vs. The Lindy Hop Kings
Stag Jones always has an eye for talent. He has scoured dance floors from the Savoy in New York to the Cotton Club in Los Angeles, bringing together two coasts of amazing swing dancers who hit the ballroom with breathtaking moves and style. Don't miss the hottest swinging kids America has to offer.
