One-Day Gallery Workshop for Adults
Enjoy the best things in life—art, wine, creativity, and friendship—in this lively, artist-led workshop. Explore a work of art from LACMA's collection through fun dialogue then retreat to the studio to create your own work in a supportive, positive atmosphere, while enjoying a glass of wine and small bites.

Bon Vivant Studio: Monoprint
Saturday, April 15 | 4–7 pm

Discover a whole new world of artistic possibility when you combine paint with monoprinting techniques! Seek inspiration from the exhibition Awazu Kiyoshi Graphic Design: Summoning the Outdated. Then paint your design directly onto a blank screen, and using the silkscreen method, hand-print your design onto paper to create a unique serigraph. The boundaries between painting and printing disappear as you experiment with an exciting means of creative expression. With artist Dewey Tafoya.
