From Oren Moverman, director of the acclaimed film The Messenger (2009), comes another tale about a veteran grappling with a new battlefront. Woody Harrelson stars as Dave Brown, a combative patrolman in L.A. during the heat of the Rampart scandal in 1999, whose uniquely hostile approach to his professional and civilian worlds disrupts the lives of all those around him. Moverman previously directed Harrelson in The Messenger, which garnered the actor an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Due to unforeseeable circumstances, we regret to inform that Oren Moverman, Ben Foster, and Brie Larson will no longer be taking part in this screening.
