RAW Sugar Jazz Quintet

The RAW Sugar Jazz Quintet features an all-star lineup led by trumpeter Dr. Richard Allen Williams. Williams is a professor of cardiology and medicine at UCLA and a standout trumpeter who grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, under the tutelage of the immortal Clifford Brown. He has been a professional jazz musician as well as a doctor of medicine for more than forty years, performing in clubs, jazz festivals, and various jazz venues around the world. RAW Sugar has recorded six albums, including A Soulful Jazz Tribute to President Barack Obama and I Remember Clifford Brown.
