Shame

Monday, November 7, 2011 | 7 pm

Co-presented by The New York Times Film Club.
In this follow-up to director and Turner prize–winner Steve McQueen's award-winning debut, Hunger, Michael Fassbender plays a sex addict whose compulsion for physical intimacy inexorably grinds away at the borders of his personal and professional worlds, threatening to consume the lives of all those in his orbit. Fassbender picked up the Best Actor prize for Shame at this year’s Venice Film Festival.
