Directed by Allan Arkush; with P. J. Soles and the Ramones; Produced by Roger Corman

Set in 1980, this wacky musical comedy centers on teenager Riff Randell, who has a passion for rock and roll and disdain for education. Teaming up with punk legends the Ramones, Riff leads a rebellion against the school's oppressive administration. The main villain is a music-hating principal who conducts experiments on rats to prove the adverse effect of rock. Teen rebellion and a classic clash of generations leads quite literally to an explosive finale in this beloved cult film.
