Off-Site Film: Torrance YouTube Slam

Friday, August 29, 2014 | 8 pm

A diversity of creative expression thrives online: web video runs the gamut from how-tos and webisodes to music videos and home movies. Celebrate the culture of your community and join us for an artful selection of YouTube shorts, curated by Torrance-area residents and LACMA staff.

Do you have a favorite YouTube video that you find funny, compelling, or interesting? If so, we want to hear from you!

In conjunction with the upcoming Torrance Art+Film Lab, LACMA is hosting a YouTube Slam on August 29 in Torrance's Wilson Park. Send us links to your favorite video(s) for a chance to see them on a huge movie screen. We welcome any type of content: how-to videos, fan-made works, home movies, viral memes, music videos, short webisodes, or films.
