Textile Art

Inspired by the quilt and textile artists Rosie Lee Tompkins and Al Loving, featured in LACMA’s exhibition Outliers and American Vanguard Art, participants will discuss the intersections between traditional craft and fine art, and create abstract, sculptural textiles using an array of fabrics and textiles to highlight themes of personal expression and identity.
