L.A. Times Central Court

Make friends, participate, and connect with LACMA Locala new kind of membership that gives you access to fun, art-inspired events on the first and third Saturday of every month. Join Local for an invitation to this event and many more.

At Local: Provoke, LACMA docents will lead small groups of Locals through a 90-minute tour and discussion: The Artist as a Social Conscience. This tour explores how artists throughout history have used their artwork to give voice to and provoke dialogue about critical issues such as racism, class, gender, war, freedom, human dignity, ecology, and consumerism. The tour features works from different times and different cultures throughout LACMA's collection.

Capacity is limited and restricted to members of LACMA Local.
