One of the most exciting benefits of membership in any of LACMA’s Art Councils is the opportunity to explore cultural destinations and collections around the globe with like-minded art lovers and discerning curators. On each trip—whether to Italy or Istanbul, Paris or Tokyo (just to name a few)—council members have together explored the city in-depth, meeting local art scholars, sampling the best cuisine, and enjoying a level of access to museums and private collections not otherwise attainable.
