Welcome to Muse—LACMA's membership group for young artists and art enthusiasts. With a mission to elevate the experience of supporting the arts, Muse offers its members a dynamic balance of social, educational and philanthropic activities throughout the year. We invite you to go behind the scenes and beyond the walls of a regular museum visit to explore everything the city has to offer.

Artwalk & After Party
Saturday, May 17
Mid-Wilshire | 12 pm–11 pm
Muse ArtWalk is coming home! On May 17, join Muse as we descend en masse upon the Mid-Wilshire art community for a day and night filled with exceptional art, music, live performances, food, drinks, and more!
During the day (12 pm–8 pm) . . .

Tickets are not necessary for the daytime ArtWalk; however, tickets are going fast for the ArtWalk After Party. Tickets are $20 for Muse member, $30 for LACMA non-Muse members, and $40 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the LACMA Box Office, by calling 323 857 6010, or by clicking here and selecting ArtWalk After Party from the Quick Tix drop down menu on the right.
Young Directors Night
Thank you to everybody who helped make the Seventh Annual Young Directors Night an overwhelming success! This year's program featured many new elements, none of which could have worked without the participation of the fantastic audience, directors, host committee and sponsors.
 Congratulations to all the films for being selected to take part in YDN. After calculating votes cast by YDN's host committee and audience, The Double by Rani DeMuth was named the winner of the first annual Art of Film award. Rani is headed to the Sundance Film Festival for her efforts.
Next year's YDN is going to be here before we know it so be sure to submit your films for consideration. Submission details can be found at the bottom of the page.
Muse 'til Midnight
 Redefining what it means to "engage with an exhibition," Muse 'til Midnight transforms the museum plaza into a multimedia extravaganza based on the latest major LACMA exhibition. Get an after-hours viewing of special exhibitions, watch art being made live, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, listen to music, and celebrate art with a free drink in hand.
Costume Ball
Thank you to everybody who attended this year’s Costume Ball! The sold-out Spooky Meets Surreal party attracted over 1,100 costume-clad partygoers. Everybody from Kim Jong Il to Jack Skellington weaved their way through Dalí: Painting & Film en route to the LACMA West Penthouse Party. Throughout, they grooved to beats provided by Dublab Soundsystem while enjoying appetizers and specialty cocktails.

Muse parties have always been known for featuring some of the best bands and DJs in LA. With the sprawling space of the museum’s Los Angeles Times Central Court, this is the perfect venue for you to expand your audience and set the tone for multiple art experiences.
