Film: Veterans in the Arts and Humanities Day: Celebration and Film Screening

Celebrate the creative contributions of military veterans in observance of Veterans in the Arts and Humanities Day in the state of California. View compelling short films created in the Veterans Make Movies program, a series of workshops presented by LACMA in collaboration with the Los Angeles Public Library that teaches veterans how to capture their unique perspectives in film. After the screening, Army veteran and Academy Award nominated filmmaker Henry Hughes will lead a Q&A with the filmmakers, followed by a complimentary wine reception for all attendees.


1-1:30 pm—Screening 

1:30-2:15 pm—Q&A with Veterans Make Movies Filmmakers 

2:15-3 pm—Reception
