Talk: A Bilingual Scholars' Day— Painted in Mexico: 1700–1790: Pinxit Mexici

Co-organized with UCLA, this bilingual (Spanish and English) scholars' day gathers a group of international scholars who will present new research on the burgeoning field of 18th-century Mexican painting. As part of the event, leading conservators will also discuss the techniques, materials, and pictorial processes employed by New Spanish painters. Scholars will present in either English or Spanish but no translations will be available.
