Imagining the Buddha Shakyamuni Today

Looking at the image of the Buddha Shakyamuni for inspiration, participants will learn about the sutras (scriptures) that highlight selected moments in the Buddha's life. Using oil pastels participants will create a moment where we would see the Buddha manifest in our environment, such as a park, the city, or other public or private spaces.
