BP Donates $25 Million to LACMA as Campaign enters Phase II
With the physical transformation of its campus fast taking shape, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art announced that it has successfully completed its Phase I campaign fund-raising efforts with receipt of a $25 million gift from global energy firm BP. The celebrated museum’s new entry, now named the BP Grand Entrance, is being designed to include solar panels, and will serve as a stunning gateway for the transformed campus and a hub for information about sustainable practices.
