Visit the newly reinstalled modern art galleries! Works by leading modern artists Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Edgar Degas will inspire you to make your own art with Larry Ashton, June Edmonds, Mahyar Nili, Quan Yen Tran and Jay Zallan. View works from the museum's permanent collection in tours led by LACMA's high school interns exploring the influences, design, materials, and techniques used by modern artists.

Explore contemporary sculpture created by artists who think big! Experience works by Richard Serra, Chris Burden, Tony Smith, Robert Therrien, and more. Swing to the Big Band sounds of Art Deco and His Society Orchestra and create your own sizable art work in artist-led workshops. Free admission from 12 to 8 pm; performance and art workshops from 12:30 to 4 pm.
