Philip Glass
The Department of Music Programs, six-time national winner of the ASCAP/Chamber Music America Award for Adventurous Programming, annually presents over one hundred concerts featuring leading international and local ensembles in programs of classical, jazz, Latin and new music. These include the long-running Sundays Live and Friday Night Jazz, along with the newer series Latin Sounds and Art & Music.
Music programs at the museum are made possible in part by a grant from the Aaron Copland Fund for Music. In-kind support for Friday Night Jazz and Latin Sounds is provided by KKJZ 88.1 FM. In-kind support for Art & Music is provided by KCSN 88.5 FM.
