The LACMA Education Department provides instructional resources to K–12 teachers to browse, check out or purchase.
Resources for Loan
Registered teachers may borrow from the diverse collection of arts and humanities slide packets, videos, CDs, DVDs, posters, and overhead transparencies. Each item is available for two weeks.
The National Gallery of Art's Extension programs, which include more than 100 slide packets, curriculum guides, and videos, are also available for loan. A maximum of two programs can be borrowed free of charge for each loan period.
Materials can be mail-ordered with no outgoing shipping charges. Late fees are $1 per day.

Resources for Purchase
Evenings for Educators curriculum materials are available for $10 per set ($7 if requesting 5 or more sets). Slide sets highlighting selected areas of LACMA's permanent collection are available for $18 each. Individual prints and overhead transparencies are $2 each.

How to Use the Resources for Educators
Free registration is available for teachers who wish to borrow materials. Registration forms may be requested in person or by email. Teachers need to provide school and personal contact information.
Registered teachers may check out materials in person or through the mail. Mail orders must be received two weeks in advance of the date needed. Returns may be made through the mail at the borrower's expense, in person by appointment only, or to the Drop Box located at LACMA West during regular museum hours.
