Rain Room is a specially ticketed, timed-entry experience. Advance tickets are required. Tickets are not refundable or transferable.

Q: How much are tickets?

Member Tickets
Members receive special benefits and access to Rain Room, including advance reservations and discounted tickets.

NexGen and Youth Tickets
Tickets are $10 for NexGen members and youth ages 3-17. There is no fee for children ages 0-2. NexGen adult guests may purchase Rain Room tickets for $15.

Non-Member Tickets
Rain Room is a specially ticketed experience. Tickets are a $10 or $15 upgrade to an existing General Admission (GA) ticket or Specially Ticketed Exhibition (Frank Gehry) ticket.

Q: Will there be a rush line for same-day sales?

  • LACMA members will have priority for same-day tickets, pending availability.
  • It is likely that entire days will be sold out through advance ticket sales and tickets will not be available on-site.

  • All general admission same-day sales are on a first come, first served basis, pending availability. Please check with a LACMA Ticket Office or Member Services table.
  • Advanced Rain Room ticket reservations may not be combined with select complimentary admission programs. Visitors arriving for Bank of America or Target Free Holidays or other free programs may upgrade with a Rain Room admission for $15 on the day of their visit, pending availability. To guarantee admission, it is strongly recommended that visitors purchase Rain Room tickets in advance. 

Q: What about tickets for kids?

  • Children two and younger may be carried into Rain Room by a ticketed adult at no additional charge.
  • Children should be closely supervised. Adults must accompany children ages 12 and younger. Teens ages 13-17 may be permitted unaccompanied.
  • As in all LACMA galleries, running is not permitted.
  • Strollers may be left outside BCAM at the unsupervised stroller parking location.
