Charles White Park, at 77 Mountain View St. Altadena, CA 91001, on the corner of Ventura St and Fair Oaks Ave.
Charles White Park in Altadena is the third site for the LACMA9 Art+Film Lab. The park was named in honor of artist Charles White, whose work is included in the collection at LACMA. Area residents are invited to participate in free film workshops, an oral history project, outdoor film screenings, plus a free day at LACMA. The event is presented by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in collaboration with the city of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation and the Arts Council.
