The Inglewood Public Library is the eighth site for the LACMA9 Art+Film Lab. Nearby, visitors can see Helen Lundeberg’s 240 foot mural known as The History of Transportation, commissioned by the WPA in 1939. Area residents are invited to participate in free film workshops, an oral history project, outdoor film screenings, plus a free day at LACMA. The event is presented by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in collaboration with the Inglewood Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services.
