Heroes and Villains Limited Edition Prints
Each image is one of six special limited edition prints produced by LACMA in conjunction with the exhibition, Heroes and Villains: The Battle for Good in India's Comics. They show a range of characters and scenes drawn for Liquid Comics by Mukesh Singh and Jeevan J. Kang, two artists whose work is featured in the Heroes and Villains exhibition.

Portrait of Devi (Devi, 2006), artwork by Mukesh Singh. Tara Mehta devotes her life to helping poor children in Sitapur's slums but she has been marked as the future incarnation of the warrior goddess Devi.

Fallen Warrior (18 Days, to be released 2010), artwork by Mukesh Singh. This image is from the not-yet released series 18 Days.

Sitapur (Devi, 2006), artwork by Mukesh Singh. The series Devi is set in the present era in the decaying fictional metropolis of Sitapur.

Kratha (Devi, 2006), artwork by Mukesh Singh. Kratha is a renegade, sent by Bala to kill Tara Mehtu, the future incarnation of the warrior goddess Devi.

Monster Machines (Ramayan 3392 AD, 2006), artwork by Jeevan J. Kang. Ramayan 3392 AD is a sci-fi adventure fantasy set in a post-apocalyptic future where cyborg demons threaten the future of human existence on earth.

Edition of 100, each print is 18 x 24 inches and has a signed certificate of authenticity. Offset print on 80# Sundance Felt cover. The original illustrations were drawn by hand either with pencil and ink, or on a computer using a digital tablet.
