Picasso and Rivera: Conversations Across Time will explore how these towering figures of 20th-century modernism engaged with their respective ancient Mediterranean and pre-Columbian worlds. Artists have long used their work to inspire dialogue, raise questions, and comment on injustices in their community. Looking at art from LACMA's permanent collection, discover the many ways in which art can be used as a tool for social justice and a catalyst for change, and learn how to encourage your students to use art as a means of getting involved and addressing injustices in their community.
