The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and YUZ Museum, Shanghai Discuss Partnership

(Los Angeles—March 29, 2018)—During public talks and panels at Art Basel Hong Kong today, YUZ Museum, Shanghai and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) discussed their ongoing and growing partnership that expands both institutions’ programming through the sharing of collections, exhibitions, and programs. Since its founding in 2014 by collector and philanthropist Budi Tek, YUZ Museum has been committed to providing access to and education about contemporary art. As the next step in reaching a wider audience and deepening engagement, YUZ Museum’s partnership with LACMA will center on a robust schedule of exhibitions drawn both from YUZ’s unrivaled Chinese contemporary art holdings and LACMA’s world-class encyclopedic collection, accompanied by complementary public programming.
