Join us for the final Evenings for Educators program of the school year!
On May 29, we will celebrate American artist Ed Ruscha with the retrospective ED RUSCHA / NOW THEN, which traces the methods and familiar subjects of his career and underscores the many remarkable contributions he has made well beyond the boundaries of the art world. Known for turning everything from consumer culture and popular entertainment to the urban landscape into the subject of his art, Ruscha is an important source of inspiration for the next generation. Enjoy a lecture, workshops, and dinner, and connect with teacher colleagues from across Los Angeles County for an evening to remember!
Agenda
4:30–5 pm: Arrive, check in, and explore the galleries
5–5:50 pm: Lecture in BCAM, Level 1, with curator Rebecca Morse
6–6:50 pm: Workshops and tours throughout campus
6:50–7:30 pm: Dinner on the Smidt Welcome Plaza
7:30–8 pm: Explore the galleries
Parking is available in the Pritzker Parking Garage on 6th Street and tickets will be validated at registration. Dinner and parking is included with admission.
