This week, join us for a concert with the Katisse.
Growing up in Los Angeles, woodwind virtuoso and spoken word artist Katisse Buckingham cites Miles Davis, Run DMC, Bach, and Weather Report as equally important early influences. He has performed and recorded with the Yellowjackets, Prince, Herbie Hancock, Dr. Dre, Billy Childs, Poncho Sanchez and Judith Hill. Katisse has played on numerous films including the legendary flute scene from the Will Ferrell film, Anchorman–The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Jazz at LACMA is free and open to all. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks in all indoor spaces including restrooms.
