Make art in person on Sundays, 12:30–3:30 pm. All activities are designed for you and your family, on LACMA’s campus. Look at cool art or make your own in a workshop—you’ll create memories together and have fun!

Quilt of Stars is a heartwarming and magical story told through the art of shadow puppetry and inspired by star quilts in LACMA’s collection.

Dive into your imagination and paint with us for free! The Boone Children’s Gallery is a creative space where visitors of all ages are invited to explore the art of brush painting. Friendly and helpful staff introduce painting techniques, offer tips, and even provide high chairs for very young artists. No prior art-making experience is necessary. The Boone Children’s Gallery is open on select Saturdays of the month, 11 am–5 pm.
