How do you bring thousands of works of art to life with light? Get an insider’s look at the David Geffen Galleries at this tour led by senior gallery lighting designer Christine Ferriter, who will discuss the design strategies, technical challenges, and creative choices that illuminate LACMA’s collection as we learn how light directs attention, transforms space, and shapes how we see art.
This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line-up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
Go Metro. The D Line now brings you directly to LACMA (Wilshire/Fairfax Station). Plan your trip at Metro.net.
