Cooking with LACMA: Why Meal Trains Matter
- Date:
- Time: 5 PM – 6 PM
- Location: W.M. Keck Education Center
- Price: $10, Members: $8
Alongside the exhibition Fashioning Chinese Women and National Grief Awareness Month, Heart of Dinner co-founders Moonlyn Tsai and Yin Chang will share recipes that can be used the next time you're asked to take part in a meal train and lead a workshop for decorating bags that will be used in Heart of Dinner food distributions. Learn about how craft and how food can be a form of unspoken care, especially in Asian and Asian American communities.
This program is part of Third Weekends at LACMA, a monthly line up of free and ticketed programs inspired by our collection and special exhibitions.
