Celebrate L.A.'s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. This week, join us for a concert with Dave Tull.
Dave Tull has long been known as one of the world’s finest jazz drummers and has also built a reputation as a premiere jazz singer and songwriter. Singing from the drums, Dave brings to the stage a rare combination of joyous songwriting, world-class jazz singing and drumming. Think “Frishberg meets Gershwin.” When not leading his own band, Dave is one of the busiest drummers on the scene, playing five tours for Barbra Streisand including at Madison Square Garden and on Barbra’s Grammy nominated live Netflix concert video. Dave also toured from 2000-2010 as drummer and lead vocalist for Chuck Mangione.
