Jazz at LACMA: The 17 Big Band

Celebrate L.A.'s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. This week, join us for a concert with The 17 Big Band. 

Jason "Spicy G" Goldman is a Grammy-winning, multi-platinum music producer, composer, arranger, and engineer as well as the founder and leader of the 17 Big Band. Goldman's credits include production, writing, and arrangements for some the industry's most respected artists and producers, including David Foster, Rod Stewart, Herbie Hancock, and Meghan Trainor, among others. As an artist, he has released four albums under his own name. Deeply committed to music education, Goldman has been an educator for almost 25 years and serves as professor of practice and chair of jazz studies at the University of Southern California.
